ChoreWorth is made for parents. Here is exactly what it stores and where. Last updated: September 2026.

Your charts

By default, everything you type into ChoreWorth (names, chores, amounts, checkmarks and settings) is saved only in the web browser on your own device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's data or using a private window removes it.

Family sync (optional)

If you turn on Family sync, a copy of your chart is stored on our database (hosted by Supabase) under a random 12-character family code. This copy includes the names, chores, amounts, checkmarks and chart settings you entered. There is no account, email or password.

• Anyone who has your family code can see and change the chart, so share it only with your own devices.
• Use first names or nicknames. Don't enter anything you wouldn't write on a fridge chart.
• To remove it, open the Chores tab, go to Family sync and tap Delete family data. This deletes the shared copy right away. Each device keeps the chart it already has.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we receive the name (optional), email and message you enter, through the form service Web3Forms, which emails it to us. We use it only to reply.

Payments

Pro is sold through Gumroad, which handles payment details. We receive the purchase receipt information Gumroad provides, such as your email address.

Hosting, fonts and tracking

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses. Fonts load from Google Fonts. To see how ChoreWorth is used, we count visits and a few actions (such as printing a chart, opening Kid mode or picking a chart look) with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It uses no cookies and doesn't collect names, chart contents or anything that identifies you. ChoreWorth has no ads and no tracking cookies.

Children

ChoreWorth is for parents and caregivers to use with their kids. Kids don't create accounts, and we don't ask children for personal information.
