Morning routine chart for kids

Put the school morning in order with a picture for every step, so kids check the chart instead of waiting for reminders. Change the steps, then print it for the bathroom or front door.

1Type their chores

Pick from common chores or write your own. Every chore gets a picture so kids who can't read yet can follow along.

2Pick a look

Sunny and Chalkboard are free. Pro adds Ocean, Space, Garden and an ink-saving black and white version.

3Print and stick it up

Print it for the fridge, or open Kid mode on a tablet or phone and let them tap chores off. Install ChoreWorth on the home screen to use it like an app.

A simple morning routine

  1. Make the bed
  2. Get dressed
  3. Eat breakfast
  4. Brush teeth and hair
  5. Shoes and coat on
  6. Grab the backpack

Tips for smoother mornings

  • Do part of it the night before: clothes out, backpack packed by the door.
  • Keep the steps in the same order every day.
  • Put screens after the chart is done, not before.
  • Hang the chart where the morning happens, like the bathroom or by the door.
  • For little kids, use 3 or 4 steps. Older kids can handle 6 or 7.

Pair it with a bedtime routine chart. For kids who need extra structure, see the picture routine chart for ADHD.
